Ryan Swift

Ryan has been swing dancing since 1998 and started DJing for dancers shortly thereafter. He is the head DJ/music coordinator for Frim Fram.

He has had the privilege of DJing for numerous Lindy Hop exchanges, dance camps, weekend workshops, and competitions, including national events such as Stompology, Camp Hollywood, Uptown Swingout, Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown, Swingout New Hampshire, California Balboa Classic, & Frankie100, and in NYC at events like Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing.

Ryan has also served as head DJ at the International Lindy Hop Championships, LindyFest & Lindy Focus.

In addition to DJing, Ryan was a founding member of Rochester's Groove Juice Swing, is an accomplished photographer, and is the creator and host of the popular swing dance podcast, The Track.

Heather Flock

Heather discovered Lindy Hop in the late 90s and is an avid social dancer, experienced teacher, award-winning choreographer and popular DJ.  She is the head instructor for Frim Fram.

She has provided color commentary for Yehoodi.com’s live broadcasts of the International Lindy Hop Championships,  she is choreographer and leading member of Coney Island Mermaid Parade’s “Winningest Group in Parade History,” the Brooklyn Bombshell Revue and was also a member of the renowned troupe the Big Apple Lindy Hoppers for many years. 

As a DJ, Heather likes all kinds of swinging jazz and blues, but does favor female vocalists and has a soft spot for Count Basie, Artie Shaw, Johnny Hodges, Cozy Cole, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. Heather can be heard regularly at Frim Fram, and all the NY Area dances and has played around the country at LindyGroove, the 9:20 Special, Girl Jam and on Yehoodi Radio. Most recently she made a dream come true and started the Sunday Soul Session
