There will be no Frim Fram on July 6 - Lincoln Center is celebrating our late friend, the incredible Dawn Hampton, at Midsummer Night Swing! We hope everyone will join us uptown on a "Frim Fram Field Trip" to Damrosch Park as we celebrate Dawn with live music from Ron Sunshine and George Gee Swing Orchestra!
“The light is on! Join us for a special evening celebrating the life of swing dance legend Dawn Hampton, who passed away in 2016. With big band hits provided by Ms. Hampton’s friends John Dokes, Paula Hampton, Ron Sunshine and his Orchestra, and the 17-piece George Gee Swing Orchestra, you’ll be inspired to follow Dawn’s own advice and “let the music move you.””
